4-Week Mantra Meditation Course
Removing seen and unseen obstacles while promoting peace and stability

Dates | November 3, 10, 17 and 24
Time | 5:00-6:30pm
Location | Block 134 in Putnam, CT
Cost | $108 (for all 4 classes)

Mantra is the most important tool Āyurveda uses to calm and rejuvenate the mind and nervous system. In this course you will learn a specific mantra to promote grounding, stability, clarity, peace and acceptance. We will meet as a group once a week, and continue our own japa practice daily in between. This course is a 40-day commitment; you will get to choose your practice duration so that it accommodates your existing daily routine. No experience is required.

Please join me this month as we continue our Āyurvedic education on preparing and eating foods that will nourish the mind and body. Learn how to eat mindfully through this holiday season, how to stock your pantry for winter, and learn the subtle psychological effects of your food choices by understanding the gunas (Sattva, Rajas & Tamas).We will prepare the meal together, and then share the delicious food as a group. Immerse yourself in a day of sacred self-care. Allow the ancient wisdom of yoga and Ayurveda to offer you tools for true self-empowerment. Learn how to bring yourself back into balance and rejuvenate your mind and body consciously with practices that are easy and sustainable. After this course, you will feel confident in creating a dinacharya (daily routine) that is uniquely tailored to your own individual needs, and feel comfortable implementing the tools necessary for your best health and expanded awareness. Learn how developing a daily routine can stabilize, balance and replenish your nervous system, providing yourself with the support needed to live with greater peace and tranquility in every moment. We will be exploring a vast array of traditional practices, journeying from the gross/physical practices, focused primarily on the body, into the more subtle realms, for the mind and beyond. This is both an educational training and experiential practice in a small group setting. Please dress in loose or comfortable clothes and bring a hat and a pair of socks that can get oily.
